MEMORY

The old fish market build in 1932 in a concrete structure has been transformed into a commercial center. Our proposal of breaking floors in order to create a central amphitheater for visual connection was disqualified by the jury on the basis of the occupancy e of sidewalk areas for a public ramp in order to facilitate the connection from the lower to the higher exterior squares. Documents prove how this solution was adopted and executed by other architects as members of the competition´s winning team.
